This quote from Jackie Robinson has always deeply resonated with me.
From a young age, sports have been at the center of my life. You could always find me with a ball in my hand. With my dad working in college athletics, I grew up on Bucknell University’s campus, surrounded by the energy of competition and teamwork. I played three sports throughout high school and was fortunate enough to continue my athletic journey playing college football at Bucknell.
Athletics have shaped who I am today. I owe an immense amount of gratitude to my parents for constantly encouraging me to be my best and supporting me in everything I do. Through sports, I developed values that continue to guide me—teamwork, perseverance, and a relentless work ethic.
For most of my life, I believed my love for athletics stemmed from my competitive drive and desire to win—until I began coaching. Six years ago, I started my journey as a high school football coach, and I quickly realized that what truly draws me to sports isn’t the wins or losses, but the lifelong impact they can have on people.
Throughout my playing career, I was fortunate to be led by coaches who made lasting impressions on my life. They cared about me not just as an athlete, but as a person. Their influence extended well beyond the field, and as a coach today, I aspire to have that same kind of impact on my players.
I’m also grateful to share this coaching journey with my wife, Marissa—an incredible first-grade teacher and girls’ basketball coach. Watching her inspire her students and athletes reminds me daily of the power of mentorship and compassion.
One principle that guides both my personal and professional life is servant leadership—putting others before yourself. This philosophy shapes how I approach coaching, relationships, and my work as a financial professional. I believe it aligns closely with the core values of Aspire Wealth Group.
I joined Aspire as a Wealth Advisor in mid-2025, and in my short time here, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply the team cares for each client. It’s inspiring to be part of an organization where people genuinely want to make a positive difference in others’ lives.
